DT Swiss P 1800 Spline 23 Rim Brake Rear
$277.90
At the core of this all-around wheelset lies a modern, wide, and light aluminum rim. Being the foundation of the wheel, it makes for a balanced width-to-stiffness-to-weight ratio. This rim is complemented by a hub featuring DT Swiss' proven pawl system freewheel as well as a high-end build with bladed spokes and elaborate alloy nipples. These features make it a premium training wheel easily able to race your mates when the city limit sign comes up.
DT Swiss E 1900 SPLINE 30 27.5-inch Rear
$265.90
Nowadays, bikers ride what used to be called downhill trails on enduro bikes. The trails are getting rougher, and the demands on the gear and rider are greater. The E 1900 SPLINE has been developed to deal with precisely these requirements. With its stiff aluminum rim, lightweight straight-pull spokes, and proven DT Swiss hubs, this wheel is well-prepared for any challenge. The balance of weight and stiffness will put a smile on your face whether you're riding uphill or downhill. After all, most of the best trails don't offer lift service.
Stan's No Tubes ZTR Arch EX Wheel (Front, 26-inch)
$260.00
Designed for aggressive XC use, Stan's ZTR Arch EX Wheel loves technical trails. The "arch" rim shape is strong and stiff while keeping the weight low for a durable, responsive ride. Plus, the Arches are built up with Stan's 3.30 hubs and DT Swiss spokes to keep you rolling quick through the nastiest terrain out there. And, this slick wheel uses Stan's BST technology for easy tubeless conversions, while the rim's wide internal profile and lowered sidewalls boost tire volume for enhanced traction.
Roval Control 29 Carbon 6B XD Wheelset
$1,349.99 $1,350.00 On Sale
WHAT IT'S FOR, WHY IT'S GREAT From weekend hot laps to World Cup XC finals, the Control Carbon combines the low weight and strength found in our world-beating Control SL rim with the new DT Swiss 350 hubs. An unmatched level of durability, precision, and performance in this new Carbon Control wheelset that is purpose-built to open terrain, from gut-wrenching climbs to tear-inducing descents—a whole new era of riding. A high-performance wheel that excels everywhere from world cup xc races to your favorite weekend trail. The Control Carbon combines the low weight and strength found in our world-beating Control SL rim with the new DT Swiss 350 hubs and spokes. This level of quality, precision and performance has previously been found only on wheels costing twice as much. ASYMMETRY BEGETS SYMMETRY The asymmetric design of the Control rim offers some subtle but important benefits. With the spokes offset to one side of the rim, this allows us to reduce the spoke offset that usually occurs at the hub. In turn, this means we can generate greater bracing angles for the spokes between the hub and rim, while also minimizing the spoke tension differential that often occurs between drive- and non-drive side spokes. The end result is a wheel that is stronger, laterally stiffer, more durable, and in the case of the Control, allows us to utilize the same length spoke throughout the whole wheelset. MINIMUM WEIGHT, MAXIMUM DURABILITY, EASY SERVICEABILITY Striking a no-hassle balance between low weight and low maintenance, we chose DT Swiss 350 Classic hubs (15x110mm thru-axle front, 12x148mm thru-axle rear) as the basis for the Control Carbon wheels. With sealed bearings, a notoriously durable 36-tooth ratchet, and 28 spokes front and rear, dependability is assured. QUALITY THROUGHOUT, FROM HUB TO SPOKE TO NIPPLE TO RIM There is absolutely no point in laying up an awesome rim and pairing it with a quality hub, only to skimp on spokes and nipples. So, keeping strength and dependability foremost in our minds, we opted to hold the Control Carbon wheel together with the best: DT Swiss Competition Race spokes and alloy Pro Lock nipples.
Stan's No Tubes Flow S1 29-inch Rear
$289.00
Stan's S1 wheelset line brings patented tubeless technology to an even wider range of riders. Built for long life, low maintenance, and outstanding value, the S1 series wheels feature 6061 series alloy rims and are available in six different widths suited to a wide range of tire sizes and riding styles. With an emphasis on value and durability, the S1 alloy wheelsets join a mountain wheel line-up that currently includes Stan's successful MK3 premium alloy wheels and innovative Valor and Bravo carbon series wheelsets. While MK3 wheelsets are built to balance strength, light weight, and stiffness, S1 wheelsets focus on maximum strength and durability. The deeper profile and thicker walls of the S1 rims result in a 50-70g weight increase over MK3 rims, but offer greater impact strength for an even wider range of use. "The new S1 series wheels were developed from rims ridden in Redbull Rampage and raced on the World Cup DH circuit for years," said Creative Director, Chris Currie. "The goal was to take everything we've done for tubeless technology, and put it into a truly bombproof and affordable wheel." Designed according to Stan's WideRight rim and tire fit system, S1 series wheelsets are available in six different rim models, with internal widths ranging from 23mm to 38mm. Combined with Stan's low-profile, high-volume Bead Socket Technology rim design, these widths let the new S1 range accommodate tires from 2-inch to 3.5-inch. All S1 wheelsets are built with 32 spokes front and rear, Sapim's proven Race spokes, Secure Lock brass nipples, and Stan's faster-engaging Neo hubs. Hubs are available to fit most axle systems, including Boost.
